What's a good price to ask for a custom guitar paint-job?

Specifically someone wants me to paint their guitar like the monterey pop strat. What's a good and fair price to ask.What's a good price to ask for a custom guitar paint-job?
The last guitar I had painted cost me around $400. That required the original finish to be stripped before the new one could go one so I would say around $300 would be fair.What's a good price to ask for a custom guitar paint-job?
