What would be the standard price for a full body paint job on a 1997 maxima?

There is no standard price for a paint job. It is going to depend on the condition of the vehicle, the prep work that needs to be done, and the quality of the paint job you want. You can pay anywhere from a couple of hundred dollars for a ';scuff and shoot'; type job, or several thousand dollars for a show quality paint job. What would be the standard price for a full body paint job on a 1997 maxima?
If you are an attractive woman you can probably get a discount off the price of about $400 that you would pay at a decent shop...this is assuming only minor body work...a few rust spots...otherwise ok condition. What would be the standard price for a full body paint job on a 1997 maxima?
im from canada so it may be a little more cheaper or expensive for you if you are in the US. Here it averages between $2000 - 3500. If you are changing the color then it would be around $3500-4500. The car just doesnt get a paint job like most people think there is body work that has to get done to the car such as getting rid of the dents or deep scratched.
I do not know what the standard price is but I can tell you in my experience I have a Camaro and there is a technical school for auto body and I called them and they assigned the car to one of the students and I got a excellent paint job and also they repaired dings I had and the cost was the primer/paint (any color) sealer and gloss which was $300.00 and with the teachers and stuff that supervise these students I must say they did a GREATTTTT job and would recommend it to any one... Good Luck to you :) Oh this was 2 years ago and it still looks great
