Is $5,000 a good price for a 1967 corvette stingray 424 that needs a paint job and some interior work?

Sure get it, but I am sure you got more work then just paint and interiorIs $5,000 a good price for a 1967 corvette stingray 424 that needs a paint job and some interior work?
A 1967 with a 427 for $5K is very underpriced. Even if the car is in horrible shape, they usually go for more than that. I say ';buyer beware';. I have to agree with the other fellow, you are probably going to have more work than just the interior and paint. Have the car checked out by someone who knows Vettes. If it is in that good of shape, maybe the seller doesn't realize what he is selling. But I doubt it.Is $5,000 a good price for a 1967 corvette stingray 424 that needs a paint job and some interior work?
Don't mess around, see if the engine or anything is damaged, because a 67' Stingray for 5K and a crappy paint and interior seems pretty cheap... I guess you should get it though. One in a lifetime chance to buy a car like that.
424 doesn't compute.

Edit: Buyer beware. I've seen titles and VIN plates go for half of that. Make sure the title matches. Something smells about this one. Check it out.
In reasonable shape ? Hell yeah. You mis typed 427, and replacement pieces can be had at
