What is the best interior paint for the cheapest price??

preferably eggshell, hi-gloss, and satin

thanks!!What is the best interior paint for the cheapest price??
OK, you may not believe it but Walmart brand paint works pretty good. We painted my boy's room with that paint about 5 years ago, expecting to have to repaint it after about 2 years cause well... it's the Walmart brand, but to my surprise even after all the scrubbing that we do to it, it has held up really nicely and it's easy to clean. Pretty cheap too and they'll mix colors for you. What is the best interior paint for the cheapest price??
Go to any store that sells paint and ask to be directed to the shelf that has the mark down on incorrect paint that has been mixed or discontinued. I do this all the time with Sears and I'm able to by at $5 per gallon. As far as to the best, that's a decision that you'll have to make
Sears paint is very good. Reasonable prices. Or thry Home Depot.
Spend the money to get a good quality paint. It will look better and last longer and in the end will cost you less (especially if you consider your time of to have value).

A good quality paint has a higher percentage of solids than a cheap paint, better pigments (usually titanium dioxide) and less fillers or extenders.

Remember, after the paint dries, what is left is the solids in the paint.

Sherwin Williams Super Paint is an exceptional paint at a decent price. Duron makes Signature Select, an excellent paint. Pratt and Lambert Accolade is a very good interior paint.

All of them have solids per volume of close to 40%.
Okay quality in paint is VERY important I don't care what anyone says. Look at the cosumer reports, you can find a compromise of cost and quality maybe. I would recommend Valspar at Lowe's or Behr at Home Depot. They will cost anywhere from $20-$29. The difference between the paint is basically the water amount verses the actual paint. If you get the cheaper paint it will have 3/4 water if you get the good quality paint you will have 3/4 paint. So it's just up to you how important one coat, scrubbable, or durable paint is to you. But you don't need to go too high end-stay clear of Porter paint and Sherwin Williams. Good luck!

P.S. Also, like the person mentioned before places like Lowe's have mistinted paint that they will sell from $5-$10 and it's the high quality paint just mixed in the wrong color for the previous customer. Ask someone in the paint department when they usually put them out so you can get first dibbs.
