average where? Say NJ area. You're looking at $2.25per sq.ft if it's the same color. for trim a different color I'd charge an extra dollar a sq.foot.bringing you to $3.25. That's for a typical builders price using builder paints.(Moorcrafts,Masterhide etc.). For a NICE custom job, using good materials, crown mouldings and so on; you're looking at $5.00 per square foot.
