What would be a reasonable price for a good paint job?

If you want a ';good'; paint job, expect to pay between $1500 - $3000. Thats for a good one. An OK one will be from 500-1000, thats a one day paint and body place tho, my paint job from there lasted less than a year. I am still saving for my paint job!!What would be a reasonable price for a good paint job?
WELL IT REALLY DOES DEPEND ON YOUR IDEA OF GOOD. FOR ME AN ACCEPTABLE JOB WOULD BE AROUND $2000, BUT FOR A GOOD JOB I WOULD PAY MORE LIKE $5000 OR MORE. IF YOUR CAR NEEDS BODY WORK EXPECT TO PAY MORE. YOU CAN REALLY SAVE A LOT OF MONEY BY DOING SOME OF THE WORK YOURSELF THOUGH. THINGS LIKE TAKING OFF ALL THE THINGS YOU DON'T NEED PAINED. LIKE LIGHTS, BUMPERS IF THEY AREN'T PAINTED, ANY CHROME PIECES, INTERIOR, WINDOWS. IT IS A LOT OF WORK TO DO ALL THIS, BUT IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET IT IS THE WAY TO GO.What would be a reasonable price for a good paint job?
$600.00
For just a paint job and no body work 500-1000 thats just for your basic paint if you want it to shine and have multiple coats and also clear then about 1500 body work 2000+ I'm assuming we'er painting the whole car right.
To get a good job you need to use good materials.Materials will cost between 500.00- 1000.00 (yes, it is alot). A GOOD complete paint job with no repairs is about 50+hours.At 45.00 per hour you would be looking at about

3-4,000.00.
the paint job prices will depend on how much body work and rust repair is involved.i have been painting for over 12 years it is hard to ask for a price without seeing what is involved.keep in mind a color change will be allot more then a repaint in the same color.look to spend at least $1000 for a GOOD paint with minimal prep work.if you live near me i might be able to help you out
$3000 should get you a pretty good paint job that is with the body shop prepping you car and filling in small dings with body filler. If you need more than the normal amount of preparation it may cost more. Plus if you want to change the color of your car it will cost more if you want the painter to paint your door jambs, the inside of your trunk and other places that aren't easily accessable or require alot of dissassembly of your body panels.
