if you are doing it, then lets assume $35 per can of paint, $20 per can of primer. you can buy cheaper stuff, or more expensive, but that is a decent average (for Canada)


usually it is one coat primer two coats paint, unless you are going with deep colours.





a can of paint averages 350 square feet of wall ( 10 foot of wall, 8 foot high=80sqft)





35+35+20=90 divided by the 350 sq feet of coverage means the paint itself costs about 26 cents per square foot.
