You get what you pay for.
They have cheep paint but they also can do some of the longer lasting types also.
Shop around quotes are free.Im looking to get a paint job for a good price what do you think about Macco or Earl Earl Scheib?
I wish people would stopp BASHING Maaco, Maaco does good jobs IF YOU PAY FOR IT. Maaco isant cheap when you pay around $1,500-2,000 on a job. It will be nice

just remember you get what you pay for if you want cheap that is how it will look it is better to pay a little extra to do it right
macco
Stay away from MAACO!!!!
The paint will begin fading in 2 years.
They do terrible work, hence the cheap prices.
Find a local guy, like a shadetree shop. They do the best paint work.
GAWD stay away from BOTH places... if you want paint on your chrome and windows go over to Earl JIVE
No matter who paints your car, your cgonna have to take care of it if you want it to last ( wash it wax it etc.. etc..)
Dont go there ,Theres a reason their cheap. youd be better off at a family owned company .sometimes you can find one as reasonable as maaco but the work will be far better
Like everyone else said, Maaco is low quality. The big problem is that the prep work is almost non-existent. It's cheap because they don't sand off the old clearcoat/paint. They 'chemically strip' the car, meaning that they put a liquid stripper on the car, rather then actually physically stripping it. It's cheap because it's very low labor.
Then don't go there. If you want something to last your going to have to pay for it. A good paint job should cost you about $3,000 to last 10 years. Thats if you take the parts off the car first.
Macco does alot of work for the dealership I work for you need to shop around there just like anyone else they have good shops and bad shops go and look at some of there work before you decide who's going to paint your car. but you should stay away from uncle earls I'll paint your car for 99.95 becuase thats what your going to get!!!!!!!!!!!
