My advice is to call the WalMart you plan to purchase the paint from. We have four within 15 miles of our house in different directions and the prices differ from store to store on the same items. You'd think it's WalMart, it's the same price in all of them, but not so! Also, different types of paint will have different prices as well.HOW CAN i FIND THE PRICING ON WAL-MART PAINT?
Our local Wal-Mart carries 3 different ';grades'; of paint (good, better, best kind of deal). The paints don't seem to have much of a price difference, maybe a couple of dollars a gllon. The ';best'; is from Kilz, and I highly recommend it. It was worth the extra couple dollars to not do several coats. I just moved and we painted every surface of the new house. The Kilz paint has done wonderfully. It has been applied to everything here from new sheetrock (drywall), to very old cheap kitchen cabinets that I cannot afford to replace yet. They were the biggest surprise.


I know I paid around $18 a gallon, but the price differs depending on if you get flat, satin, semi-gloss, or High gloss paint. I have used all of the finishes, depending on where I was painting, and they all turned out wonderfully. It goes on great, and does cover in one coat. The only exception to that was the deep deep red that I used in our kitchen, it took 2 coats. After talking to several people though, they told me reds usually take several coats, especially dark reds, so 2 coats seems like I was getting by easy.
I do not recommend walmart paint. It is really cheap. I do recommend the Ace Hardware paint. That is really good paint.

You should try calling the nearest Wal-Mart and asking someone there. Before you do that you should decide what kind of paint you need. Typically latex-based paints are the best for interior painting. Also I really would reccomend using a Benjamin Moore brand, which is usually not available at Wal-Mart. If you decide to do this, you can check their web-site for their nearest distributor.
