I have a 2000 red Jetta, paint is still in great condition-- but I want it black. There are a few minor dents on the car, but I am not worried about getting them fixed. To get a paint job as good as a stock car, you are going to have to pay for it. Maaco will paint it for cheap but really cheap paint means peeling and flaking with no or very little warranty. Do yourself a favor and spend that money on something more important than the color of your car. It's a 2000 Jetta. Why waste the money on a car you will only have for 4-6 years.
